⚡DO SOMETHING⚡Virtual Yoga + Writing Workshop
Join me and Emily Mohn-Slate of Be Where You Are on Monday, November 18th. Donations go to The Center for Reproductive Rights and the Natural Resources Defense Council. Details below.
Hey there. I spent the last week thinking hard about last week’s election in the US, along with many others with a functioning moral compass. A lot of people are about to be needlessly, cruelly hurt, and as a white lady whose disability is largely invisible, I *look* like someone who might accept that. I don’t. So let’s do something about it together.
Join me for a virtual ⚡Yoga & Writing Workshop⚡ co-hosted with writing instructor Emily Mohn-Slate of Be Where You Are, this Monday, Nov 18th from 6:30-8 pm EST!
The goal is to come together, center ourselves with breath and movement, and dig in for some generative writing. Process feelings, imagine a different future, or flex your creativity as an act of resistance—all fair game.
You’ll leave our time together a little more embodied, with some words on the page, and that magic feeling of being in community with folks who really give a shit * 💖
This workshop is truly for anyone at any level in terms of yoga and writing practice— so don’t let yoga fear stop you. As I say when teaching, any pose can look a lot like child’s pose; as long as you’re breathing, you’re doing yoga.
This workshop is free but we’re asking participants to pay what they can to this donation platform. ALL donations will be split evenly between The Center for Reproductive Rights and the Natural Resources Defense Council.
If you can’t attend the workshop, but still want to donate, click on the button below.
